The part nobody prepares you for

You quit. Now what?

Quitting removes the substance. It doesn't teach you how to live without it.

  1. Friday night feels empty.
  2. You still snap when you're challenged.
  3. You want to check out when it gets hard.
  4. Your family still remembers the old you.

Saturday mornings

I used to sleep through them. Now they're the best part of my week.

Then

"Dad, where were you?"

Now

Breakfast, mini sticks, and fixing bikes with my boys.

Meet your coach

I quit drinking. Then I found another escape.

Different substance, same disconnect. Getting fully sober was only the start. Rebuilding who I was, and my place at home, was the real work. Now I help other parents do it.

"I can't get the years I missed back. But I can be here for the ones I still have."
